I had to remove the cabling from the front panel along with the inside DC-to-DC power converter board so I could more easily mount my motherboard and route cables to the exterior drive mounting. YES, the interior of the case is cramped. I could have drilled some new screw holes, but I had thoughts of returning this case the 4 eggs. I mounted my SSD with 1 screw, using an existing screw hole in the mounting, so I did not have to horribly twist my cables. That means a user has to horribly bend their drive cables into order to connect. See the pictures.Ĭons: Exterior drive mounting metal positions the cable connectors of SSD drives 90 degrees rotated from where drive cables appear in this cover.
